I  have been a continual student of the Fahm ul Qur’an Program. This spiritual journey has been simply phenomenal & life changing for me.  It not only imparts a deep understanding of the Qur’an through In-depth Tafseer but it also very convincingly addresses our misunderstandings & queries related to Fiqh. Furthermore, it instills love for adopting the Sunnah way of life by detailed study of selected beautiful Ahadiths.

The 18 month online Quran Course by the Fahm Ul Qur’an Program has provided a comprehensive and engaging overview of key concepts.

No words can describe my journey with AL-ILM institute as a RIHLA student. I have recently completed a two year’s course with batch-11 (2022-2024).

Alhumdulillah Rihla allowed me to study translation & tafseer of QURAN, Arabic grammar, Fiqh, Tajweed,& Seerah. Above all this course also offers an extraordinary antidote to our common anxieties by teaching anger & conflict management and tazkiyah nafs.

Huma Aapa’s teaching style is exemplary. She is very interactive & easily approachable. I have never studied from such an outstanding teacher throughout my academic career. Perceptions is an amazing & interactive course where the teachers and Youth Leaders are super nice. I realy look forward to Fridays because I get to go to Perceptions. It’s a space where I feel comfortable opening up knowing I won’t be judged.

This course was an incredible journey of spiritual growth, self-reflection and my deep connection with Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala. Through this course I haven’t just learned the words of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala but also experienced their impact, support and comfort in my own life. The Quran is a true light and guidance.

Some days were challenging in this course but that taught me patience and the importance of striving in the path of Allah subhanahu wa ta’ala. I felt that every verse, each verse is a personal message, a reminder for me, a source of comfort in difficult times, a friend in loneliness and my best companion and a source of peace. I pray that the Quran will continue to be our guide in shaping our actions, our characters and transformation of our heart and soul.

Aaisha Amir’s full command on Arabic Grammar & Tajweed rules makes her a Tafseer teacher Par  Excellence. Thus she presents Tafseer from all angles. In addition her tafseer explanations presents the ground realities of our times, the challenges faced by our youth & faced by everyone. She also relates with the developments  in Social sciences, Neuroscience & science.

The Team that looks after Ta’meer Program is amazing! May Allah swt accept all the efforts of our teacher Aaisha Amir & of Ta’meer Team and give them loads of ajar. Ameen Suma Ameen. I would give the course a rating of 5 out of 5 plus many many stars!

I have two daughters who went to Maktab for their tajweed and tarbiyah lessons.
My older daughter, Maria Mansoor, graduated from Maktab in 2022. She started her journey in 2019.
Maria had an incredibly fulfilling journey at Maktab. She loved her wonderful teachers, and the lessons she learnt taught her to recite the Quran in a beautiful voice, with very good tajweed. Maria also learnt to be kinder, more respectful, and a better human being.
I couldn’t be more thankful to the teachers and administration at Maktab, who have been like second mothers to my children and have taught them so well and so lovingly.
